Problems with hibernate/suspend and Catalyst drivers 4.8, 4.9

Thread Starter
Anybody else having problems with hibernation and suspend using the 4.8 and 4.9 Catalyst drivers? My ABS zForce F2 will not show any display coming out of hibernate or suspend using those drivers. Any ideas besides just using 4.7 drivers?

Hm. I'm not using the newest drivers. Sometimes I get no display when coming back from Idle, and then going into standby and waking up fixes that. Sounds like this whole area is just messed up...

My Laptop (Aopen 1557A) also had problems with Standby/Hibernate and Catalyst 4.9. But are you saying that 4.7 and Standby works fine?? Definetly better than my current 3.10's

Just tried 4.7 and Standby works great!!

OT and who cares?

I am running the latest Omegas which are absed on 4.9. His notes say there is a problem with hibernate and suspend but so far i've not had any problems. Some say you can only do it once and it wont' work after that but I've been using my notebook all day and have been going in and out of hibernate to book. No problems, what-so-ever. It hibernated all ngiht, too, and no problems. So maybe it doesn't affect everyone.

@Uriel/shaun3000 - There aren't any mods on this section, if you didn't realize already...

My browser's ad blocker didn't let it show. I didn't know what you were talking about until I turned it off and refreshed!
