Does installing wireless card void warranty?

When I get my Area 51, I want to install a lnksys wireless card. Will this void my warranty? Or is it one of those situations where i call first and to let them know, then go ahead and do it?

If you are talking about a MiniPCI wireless card then you might want to call but if you mean a card that plugs into the PCMCIA slot on the side of the computer, then no you will not void the warrenty. That is what the slot is there for.

Hey, dont buy a linksys card. Just look around, there are quite a few of us having problems with the linksys card. Buy a netgear.
