New Hypersonic CX5 (CL56)

So, I just recieved my Hypersonc CX5 yesterday, and it's awesome! However, I'm having a problem setting up my wireless, something I really don't have a whole lot of experience with.

I've got a linksys router wired to my desktop and my cable modem, and that's working fine. I got the wireless to work on my dad's toshiba although not at all reliably (loses signal every few minutes), but on my new laptop it will find the network, but once it tries to connect it says that the connection has little or no connectivity. It sends, but doesn't recieve packets. All of the settings appear to be correct as far as I can tell, but obviously I'm missing something.

Got any ideas?

Oh and I've got EZ buttons installed and it seems to work fine.

Are you using Intel's Proset software or Windows Zero Config? For the brief period of time I had my CX5, the first one worked fine with Proset, so I used that. The second one didn't want to connect at all with Proset, but worked fine with Zero Config.

Make sure your workgroup is the same, and it's set to obtain ip address automatically? You may want to run the home network wizard.

never hurts to get to a cmd prompt and do a lil "/flushdns" and maybe an "ipconfig /release" followed by an "ipconfig /renew"
