I've heard (read, actually) about some time in middle 2005, when the development of the burners will reach a limit scenario, like what happened with CD-Rs at 48x-52x.
My father told me to buy a good one because we are planning (but I will do it
) to put into DVDs some VHS-C tapes of my family (specially my little sister
). He is thinking about buying a mini-DV cam that allows A/V input from the TV (again, we are thinking, but I will research
). Anyway, he will buy the mini-DV cam anyway, so even if it doesn't have a AV input (and in this case he will need to pay for a someone to convert the old tapes), we can create DVDs of the DV tapes from now on.
And, afterall, I need an upgrade to back-up my things (from college/highschool documents and presentations to linux stuff)... too much CD-Rs
edit: I'm using the "NOTEBOOKFORUMS" skin and it's not a problem to read it. But I can only read Tourney's sig, for example, if I select it....
