What is your video card ? It will be hard for people to give advice if they don't know.

Just a note. At least myself and pow didn't uninstall the previous drivers before installing the s-seven drivers. I was going to, but when I found out that pow didn't, I wanted to try that first to match his results. They probably work well after uninstalling as well, but they seem to work great without uninstalling.

I did [briefly] check out the .inf file to see what it had in there, and there appeared to be a bunch of information on cleaning thigns out first, but I could be horribly wrong about that. And I'm not at home to post a verification, so this is just from memory.

Just wanted to let people know that at least some of the great results were obtained by _not_ uninstalling first. These are some weird drivers, and it definitely appears that some form of magic is at work here. Maybe it has to be a certain phase of the moon...

yea i don't think it has anything to do with that. I did uninstall the old drivers first before trying to install these. After that didn't work i installed the old drivers again and tried it with the old ones still installed, and i came up with the same error.

Did you install the drivers from ATI, or the ones from s-seven? The ATI ones were giving me problems, but I had no issues whatsoever with the s-seven drivers. Those were modded for the M9, whereas the ATI ones were not.

Good luck!

They've worked for a lot of people here, so hope they work out for you.

PLANETSIDE WORKS NOW NO LOCKUPS!!!!!!!! YEAY! thank the lords of ATI now I will never update these damn things ever again....
When you all refer to "lockups" do you mean a momentary freeze or an actual complete system freeze? Occasionally when playing UT2003 the game will stop for fraction of a second and then continue.

Is this what you talking about?
We meant HARD lockups that forced you to reboot... Everybody gets FPS drops at times.

yea i think thats lag more than anything.

see through floor on bf 1942

I am using to new cat 3.5 driver and it works fine exept I have the "see through floor" thing happing when I first start playing. It clears up after I pass that section and then go back over it . Any ideas on a fix? Runs great, but that is a little anoying.
