Larger Screen Size

Any Suggessions:

I am about to purchase a 8886 with the 15.7 screen, but I have seen information ( PC World, November ) that many new notebooks are coming out with 16 to 17 inch screens. I am willing to wait until January if this is the case. What's another 30 days or so. I do a lot of video editing and want as big a screen I can get. Has anyone seen any information on this.

I dont know a lot about Clevo. From the information you gave me and from the link, does this mean we can expect in early 2003. Maybe even in January can we expect to be able to purchase in the USA from PCTorque.

Dunno when they will come into Sager! But I do know this when I found out about the new 2.0 USB and the new 533 Mhz FSB motherboard it was out on the Clevo site about 4 weeks before it was available to the other vendors like Sager. I do't think you have long to wait.

I remember when a dealer told me about the 16" screen 2-3 weeks ago some people thought that this was just a rumour!

16" is the same as a CRT 17" . I imagine a lot of people will stop buying desk computers and opt for systems as 888E!
