Hello. I having a bit of a annoying problem.
I bought Manhunt used and installed it as usual. After installation I plugged in my Echo Indigo soundcard and my new Ultrasone cans ready to jamout only to find a message that said "could not load Manhunt.exe and needs to end task".
What!!!

I unistalled and reinstalled only to have the same problem on start up. For what ever reason I unplugged the Echo and started the game up to find it ran just fine and dandy. SO I tested to see if the Indigo was the problem by starting th game with and with out the card with the same reasults: with indigo crash, with out game on.

I have another Rockstar game Grand Theft Auto Vicecity which runs fine with the Indigo. Hmmmm.

Any ID's?

There's a new driver for the Echo Indigo line of cards on the mfg's website with reference to a fix for WinXP SP2. Give it a try. I ordered my IO version just this week.

Thanks johnson21. The driver must be very new. When I downloaded the latest drivers when I first got the Indigo a couple months ago, the latest driver was from more than a year ago. Your gonna love your Echo!
I'll DL it and see what happens.
Thnx again!

I downloaded the drivers and drumroll please.......They worked!
I had resorted to playing Manhunter by plugging my cans direct into the Lappy. Very gut wrenching indeed. It's amazing the difference in clarity with the Echo.
Anywho, thanks again for the heads up for the new drivers!
