I installed 3.4's a while ago, and have been living with the problem of the resolution changing when i restart my computer; but its come to the point where i'm FED UP (and way to lazy to search the forums for answers). So i've decided to ask you in a seperate thread where you can tell me if there is a fix yet for it.

Try MultiRes from http://www.entechtaiwan.com/ . Install it, find this registry key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] and set it to your preferred resolution, such as this: "MultiRes"="C:\\Program Files\\MultiRes\\MultiRes.exe /1600,1200,32" for 1600x1200x32. Your PC will boot up in 640x480, and after you sign in it will run MultiRes and reset to 1600x1200. Give it 10+ seconds or so to do it. It's been working fine for me for a month.

As noted, the new Cat 3.5s boot to the proper res without MultiRes. I'm trying them myself and they seem to work fine, but I haven't gamed yet.

go to www.s-seven.net/ati and download the drivers. Not only have i seen a dramatic increase in speed on command and conquer generals, the resolution prob is fixed. make sure to get the latest version of the drivers. Goodluck!
