Damn 2700. The mobile radeon 9800 really gets a beating here. I must say I'm disappointed

kogle I think you are being either unfair or you just dont know enuf about the benchmark to make that kind of a statement. The score of 2700 is might impressive. Consider yourself lucky that your laptop is actually able to run that benchmark at all hahhaha. It is a cpu independent gpu asswhooping benchmark. I think it is a decent score. Sure it is nowhere near what the desktop topends are getting but think about the hardware...it is exactly half that of a high end x800. And high end x800s are scoring in the 5500s so your score is excellent for half the hardware you have. The net ATI Cat drivers 4.10 and 4.11 might boost some perf and I know it does so in games because it increases the efficiency of the gpu and so I think there is still some room for improvement. Great overclock score by the way daniche

Ok you seem to know a lot more about this subject than me so I'm withdrawing my critics. I understand now that the numbers is pretty impressive.

Aha, awesome... I'm ahead of the 9800 XT by a few hundred points and just a tad short to the power of the Geforce 9800 basic! I think I like it.

We have Radeon 9800's, 8x pipelines, 256 mb; while your 9700 is 4x pipelines, 128 mb.... Double the power = Higher Benchmarks.
