MY 3DMARK05 IS 6701 stock on a XPS M170
2 gig ram
7800gtx

another 7800..

Mine out of box was 6582. Only 1GB RAM and 2Gz CPU might be the cause of the difference, but quite close to your result..

My "safe" maximum OC on the x600 is 520/348 and gets me a score of 1914, pic attached. I'm so curious about whether those who post their scores for the x300 are running 3dmark at default settings (1024x768), because I can't believe people aren't frying their GPU's with some of these scores and clock settings, that's balls to the wall! If I recall my max score on the x300 128mb was nowhere near 1900, maybe I got a bad card before?

I guess that ATI doesn't make X300 cards. I believe that X300 cards are X600 cards with some bad pipelines or something like that.

In the past AMD labeled their bad yields of Athlon-XP's as Duron. Those procs didn't pass the high quality test for a athlon XP. So they disabled some cache. I think the same goes for ATI cards. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to overclock that far without stability probs I guess.

I managed just over 4200 with my 9300.

1.73 Pent m
1 gb ram
6800 go on 81.85 drivers

That is overclocked. Non overclocking, i get around 3300, cant remember the exact number but its on the lower end of 3300.
