do they acctually give your your laptop, within a reasonable amount of time? for 250$ for an alienware laptop maxed out? how can you pass that up? Unless they dont intend on giving you the laptop.

i dont think that im going to buy it, because i would really like the Wideangles screen from sager. but if i did buy that laptop for $250 and then sold it on ebay for like $2000 i could buy the sager faster

i dunno, i would really appriciate you input if you could take the time to post. thanks in advance

those ebook systems seem a little too good for my liking.

I'm not involved in this one - but this is the sort of things he's talking about

Sounds like some sort of pyramid scheme from a quick glance at their FAQ...

anyone else have any info they would like to share?

I contacted the site...

contacted
Although I cannot deny the fact that deep in me, I have this gut feeling that this whole this bogus. Nontheless I did email the site to see if I could squeeze any information out of them, and will be more than happy to report back here... if they do in fact reply to my inquiry.

I'm always one for optimism but in this case, common sense seems to be the prevaling factor in my pessimism. One could always dream though....

damn these forums for not letting you edit your own posts!

well, i went on ebay about 30 min after i read the new posts to the topic. and i found an alienware laptop for only $192 with 2 days left on it. i said, WOW, how can this be bad? i scanned the description for anything that said, "not acctually laptop, INFO" and it didn't so i placed my bid. $250 i out bid the former leader at $202. when i was done bidding i went back and READ the discription, and you know what it says?

Quote:
I will Place the winning bidder's name in my place near the top of a popular list(I am #2 on this list). I have contacted the list and they do not have a problem doing this. All that will be needed after the auction is name address and e-mail for confirmation. You will be able to track the progress yourself, and you will be able to build it to your specifications(up to $3600) and have it delivered to your front door. What you pay for in the auction IS THE FINAL PRICE. The only setback is that it may take a few weeks to receive, but this machine is well worth the wait. Good Luck and happy bidding.
oh well, i guess i will learn first hand about what it will be like, because i dont think anyone else will be as stupid as i was on bidding on this item with out reading the discription.

oh well, if it does come, that will be a plus too, because i wasn't going to buy my sager until september.... more details to come...
