If you do, any thouights, reviews or pics would be greatly appreciated.

I have an I9100 and use my 19-inch desktop monitor for an occasional 2nd-monitor setup when I am doing development.

It's great. I drag my application over to the 2nd monitor window while I debug in my primary window. It beats flipping back and forth through windows to find the right one. NIIIIICE.

Yeah, I agree. More screen real estate is always better, I've found.

Another take on this scenario - I do both web and desktop application development. For some projects, there are requirements like "web app must be optimized for 1024x768 resolution". It's great to be able to set my laptop screen to 1600x1200, and my secondary monitor to 1024x768 - I don't lose screen size for development/debugging, but I can test at the required resolution.

Can't live without it now. Code on one screen, web page on the other. Or a video perhaps. Mmmmmm.

As for web designing for multiple res, tried the Firefox Webdevloper extension? You can set the browsers size to whatever presets you want with two click.

At work I have a IBM T40 and use a NEC 19" LCD1960NXi monitor as my extension. I'm not a developer/designer, but it works for with muptiple MS Excel spreadsheets.

Interesting. Too bad most of our clients have IE as their target browser. But with MS's propensity for "incorporating" competitor's ideas, it may come to pass...
