Sentia Price is dropping...

I've noticed over the past 2 weeks that the starting price of the sentia has dropped from $1,750 (estimate) to $1670 (est.) now to $1,592. . . is this a sign of Alienware trying to clear the rest of the Sentias out for something new? Maybe a new version of the Sentia with the Alviso chipset? I have also noticed that in a short 2 week period a Sentia that was built with the EXACT SAME SPECS has changed from $2,609 to $2,413 to $2,278... I am really liking the looks of this!!!

I originally thought because X-Mas was coming soon. . . But Dell's prices went UP!!! I buile the same 600m yesterweek for $1932 that this week costs $2024... lol I know it is not as a dramatic a change as the Sentia... but it is still interesting...

The new Alviso chipset is coming next year.
Which supports...
The new Sonoma Pentium M, with the 533 MHz FSB
and (the most impressive inmy opinion)
PCI-Express graphics slot... (which I am not 100% sure about...) but if it is true then PCI-Express will OWN the current integrated graphic chip on the Sentia.

I just hope with the new chipset that the Sentia stays as thin and light as it currently is

The price has gone down but I don't think it's a huge drop.

Isn't the lowest price machine configured with a Celeron? I just noticed that the other day.
