Hello everyone!
I just ordered a 700m w/ the 8 cell battery. (I can't wait to get it! This forum really helped me out with my buying decision, by the way! So THANKS!)
Anyway,
I read in some past forum posts that the Shinza sleeves took a long time to get. Did any of you have a long wait time for them?

The large size will fit I8600 without any problem. I had one before but sold it as I seldom move my laptop around. I wonder if the medium will fit I8600 too since for large one's height has an inch extra?

From the dimensions IM reading on Shinza's webpage
"Large" dimensions (please measure your notebook and compare to interior figures!)

* Exterior (W x D x H): 15.0 x 1.0 x 13.0 inches (380 x 25 x 330 mm)
* Interior (W x D x H): 13.8 x 1.8 x 11.4 inches (350 x 45 x 290 mm)

the Interior is only 13.8 x 11.4 ...

but the Dell 8600 is listed as this on Dells webpage

Chassis
15.4-inch Wide-Aspect WXGA, SXGA+ and UXGA displays:
Height: 1.52-inch (38.6 mm)
Width: 14.22-inch (361.2 mm)
Depth: 10.79-inch (276.1 mm)
Weight: starting at 6.9 lbs. (2.96 kg) with travel module, 9-cell battery and hard drive1

So could someone please -- verify if they have tried to put an 8600 in the Zeroshock sleeves as I dont want to buy one and have to resell it on Ebay right away..

Well they are not really "shinza bags" as shinza is just exporting the bags from Japan. Elecom(a japanese company) is the maker of the Zeroshock bags. elecom zeroshock website

Not sure if it's worth it yet, though since I barely ordered one for my 600m(black 15" medium zeroshock). I ordered mine through a different company and they didn't have it in stock(they have to get it from Japan), so it will take about 3 weeks or so to get mine. But it's only costing me $21, so I'm not complaining. :-D
