I have a new 1-week old baby, and it doesn't wake up properly. My Inspiron 9100 won't resume from Standby or Hibernation. The fans kick in at full and stay there, but the screen stays black.
When resuming from hibernation, the screen shows the "Resuming from Hibernation" and then goes black.
If I switch off (hold down the power btn for several seconds), and restart all is well - as long as I don't let it go into standby or hibernation.
Any ideas how to fix this? TIA
