is this thread still going? Damn! Alright well all of you people that think high school is hard... You have no idea what you are talking about. AP classes in high school are a waste of your time, most of the credits didn't transfer for me anyway. (AP Environment, Psych, etc.) Hard is staying home on a thursday night because you had a 10 page paper due the next day. Hard is telling 15 of your friends you can't go to the triple kegger because you have to "study." Hah well maybe thats not so hard, but i do love colllege.

question to all you old timers... Why do all of you hate your jobs so much? I read a post on here claiming something like "all of these kids so positive with life right now." That baffled my mind. If you aren't happy with your career, why did you choose it? I was under the assumption that anyone can quit if they are really unhappy with their job.

Who was complaining about hard? AFROTC, hard is trying to explain to you Aerospace Studies teacher ( a diminuitive 5'2" Captain, former missileer) why you have missed two quizzes because WebCT is ghey. Followed by being grilled for thirty minutes by the GMC of the month Review Board consisting of the Wing Cadet Commander, the Vice Commander and the I.G. Follow that with three hours of Leadership Lab an physical training. Then the thirty minute drive home, to way too much homework and way too little love and fun. 17 hours on 5 and a half is not my idea of the good life.

Well, I guess its time for me to brag about myself...

+I am 18 and fresh out of High School
+I was also an AP fanatic (kinda) talking on AP Biology, AP Computer Science, and AP U.S. Government. Passed them all (AP Comp. Sci. with a 4).
+All Honors classes in High School.
+Was in Marching Band for all four years and Loved It, despite my non-band friends protests. Talented in music, but not a band geek.
+Oh, and I also play Trumpet, Baritone, French Horn, Piano/Keyboard and I know how to play a Trombone.
+A Full-time Freshman at a 4-Year university studying Computer Engineering, tuition paid in full, twice.
+Got a Part-time job at a drug store (dont like it).
+I dont drink (gasp). I dont see any reason too.
+I use both my outdated Desktop (AMD XP 1800+, 512MB RAM, 200GB HDD, No Vid. Card) and my not-so-outdated laptop (P-M 1.4Ghz, 512MB RAM, 40GB 4200, M10 64MB)
+No Girlfriend

Alex - Thats why you make sure that the college you are going to will accept the AP's you are taking, that way you DONT waste your time. My College will take all of my AP's but the only one that will actually count is AP Computer Science. Somehow, AP Biology just doesnt apply to Engineering. No regrets for the class though; it was fun.

ResOGlas -

Ok, I think I am done.

Well I applied to a LARGE variety of colleges, thus I was more worried about getting accepted than if my credits would transfer. Plus I feel smart in my psych class now because I took 2 years of it in high school. . Its all good, I am loving college. 2:40AM and just about to start a game of poker after a night of drinking and partying... It doesn't get any better than this.
