I dont think there is 56k + ANYTHING except 56k + ArchaicSlowness and 56k + GetRidOfItAndGetDSLOrCable

There are a few companies that make routers hat have built in dialup modems as a backup for broadband. If the router cannot access the broadband connection it connects the modem and shares the dial-up connection over the network. You could hook one of those up to a WAP, but that would be a waste of money IMHO.
