Swapping HDDs on a 3790?

How hard would it be to swap the HDD?

I need to run some beta stuff but don't want it to mess up the production system, so I'm thinking maybe a HDD swap would do.

Any thoughts?

And no, I don't have the 3790 - going through my usage list and seeing which laptops survive the cuts.

Didn't tried it, but based on the manual, you only need to unscrew a few screws, and take the cover off. Then, push the HDD away from the connectors, and you should be able to take it out. The installation is the other way around.

its really simple to be honest.

Remove a total of 10 screws to get to your objective.

6 screws are on the casing, the plasic shell that makes it all nive looking.

4 screws are on the hardrive cover.

After removing all the screws just slide the cover to the left and take it out. Then get a fairly good grip on the HDD and push/slide it to the left. After it comes out just simply pull it up and remove. Reverse the process in order to return it back to a new or previous state.
