Whats your bios?

Thread Starter
Hey everyone, I've posted this in another thread but I figured I would post it here and see what kind of results I get.

Next time you reboot your eMachine M68xx laptop could you go into your BIOS and write down the Version or Rev. # (I forget what its called in the BIOS) and post it here along with your model of laptop?

To get the ball rolling, here is mine:

Out of box: M6807 = 0F05.P00
Current: M6807 = 0F07.P00

I hope it is inaccurate on your voltage. If not, you are producing a lot of excess heat. It is suposed to be running at 1.4v.

Thunder,

Both Aida and PC Wizard (couldn't find the info in Sandra) report the voltage as 1.5V. If it is suppossed to be 1.4V, how do I change it.
It can be changed with software such as ClockGen, but that change will revert back to whatever it was at before when you reboot. Unfortunately, our BIOS does not allow voltage adjustments. I just remembered last time I used PC Wizard, it also reported 1.5v I think even though I was actually running at 0.95v. It is probably just some issue withthe software reporting "max supported" voltage instead of current voltage. Sorry for the scare. It really wouldn't have been that much of a problem anyway. You would have just been generating more heat. The desktop A64 runs at 1.5v.
