Latest BIOS for 5680 - Page 2

would the 5690 BIOS update work on the 5680? Given that the 5690 is just the 5680 with a Mobility 9700 (AFAIK).

I doubt it - the bios is quite dependent on the graphics card (or is that vice-versa?). Plus, we've been told that Sager is working on a 5680-specific fix. Just a little patience...

New bios from Ted has fixed my overlay probs. But I Don't like the drivers past 7.99s. Seem to have scanning issues. But dvds play fine.
My lappy is a 5680\3.2\1024 ddr ram\radeon 9600 pro turbo.
Bios file from ted is 568bv10s. Vesion 1.00.10s with separate bios flashes for fn.\ctrl swap.

So the new 5680 bios is finally out? The last i had was the 568bv9t4.zip.

Horizontal scan lines visible on video. Even in progressive mode with Windows media player or Windvd 5 platinum.
NEW PROBLEM: I can't seem to make my dvdrw\cdrw drive work when my removable dvd\cdrw is installed. Works fine with extra battey installed, or floppy. Anyone know anything about IRQs and such?
