Wireless disappeared?

I recently "upgraded" my BIOS. At least I thought I did. Right now I have 1.0.0.9T version of a BIOS on my 8890. I think this may not have the wireless controller in it or something, because when I rebooted my wiress is not there. In network connections, I only have my integrated LAN and the Firewire connections available. There are no traces of any wireless card being on my system at all (even though I used it regularly before the flash).

Can someone either help me out by telling what to do or sending a different BIOS? Thanks a lot.

If you can do this quickly, I'd really appreciate it because I need to do a lot of research at the library tonight.

Hard to send you an earlier BIOS when you don't provide an e-mail address and your profile on this board says you set yourself up not to receive e-mails........

I went back to the 1.0.0.6 BIOS as found on this thread -> http://notebookforums.com/showthread.php?t=20581 <- and my wireless is still gone. Ugh... Was there a BIOS setting or some other miniscule thing that magically turns it back on?

THIS HAPPENED TO ME!!!! people looked at me crazy when i tried to get help for it.

it'll come back magically on it's own, unless u typed Fn + F7. that disables the adapter. if urs is disabled, press that combo. u know ur adapter is on because the orange 'mail' led will be lit if the adapter is activated.
