TV Tuner Remote Control

I am running a Dual Display Set-up with my 8886, and whenever I try to drag the avermedia TV window onto the secondary display it turns black. I tried using powerVCR also and it did the same. But winDVR worked fine on the secondary display. So I was wondering how I can program the remote control to control winDVR (if its possible). If it is not possible, how can I get the averTV software to work on the secondary display. I have been trying different software and drivers for the past week...to no avail. Thanks for your help!

From what other members have said that wanted to do the same thing, they had to set it to be their primary display to show up.

The remote should at least control the volume when playing DVDs.

hmm i can switch my tv tuner and media players between my dual displays no problem, i am using UltraMON to manage display profiles, i wonder if thats it.

i just realized why it doesn't work for you and does for me
i have overlay mode turned off, AFAIK you can't switch between two displays in overlay mode since its a hardawre thng.

change the display surface mode in tv tuner thing to primary then it should work fine.

Thanks! That worked great. The only thing readers should be aware is that when you switch to full screen, it jumps back to the "real" primary screen.
