mobile video card question

Scenerio:
Everything is the same specs except for the video card. 1.7ghz centrio, 512mb pc2700.
One video card is 32mb ATI Radeon Mobile 9200
The other is 64mb Nvidia Geforce FX Go 5200
Which would be faster? I did a search and what I got out of it was the ATI was faster at the cost of DirectX 9.0.. but it didn't specify the video memory situation. What do you all think? Which is a better choice?

The ATI should run cooler and suck less power.

The extra 32mb could make a substantial difference, depending on the apps that you plan to use....

I say, geforce.

I'll go with Enderet here. Most OSs nowadays have a LOT of eye-candy. And if you play any game at all, the 64MB will help tremendously. Or if you're doing anything related to image/video manipulation.

THe nVidia for sure! That extra vram will really hold out. And I think the 5200 performs slightly better than the 9200 anyways. Obviously as Taiwanze said, the 9200 won't take up as much battery, but both of these cards will take up minimal battery anyway.

9200 = Rebadged 9000, with a slightly higher clock and some new instructions for Dx i think.

From what I remember... the 5200 beat the 9000 when It came out... so it cant be that bad.

Go for the 64 MB FX5200! The extra 32 MBs not just increases the amount of VRam you have, but DOUBLES IT!
