Did you try pinging the router or acces the router IP address?
Make sure you are on the same network and IP reach, subnet.
If you have DHCP server enabled, go to run and type cmd. Next type iconfig/release. this should release the ip address for your NIC. then after 30sec's type ipconfig/renew.
To disable the automatic powersave feature for the NIC go to the Device Manager and double click on your NIC. There under one of the Tabs you will find 'turn this device off to safe power' and deselect that.
I have always had so many problems with lans and routers that I just try anything I cazn think of. Such as change ips, manually configure them, gateways, subnets, dns wraa all of it
Goodluck, and there should be other sites out there or perhaps a troubleshooter page at linksys.com
