My 9100 with the MR9800 and 1GB RAM pulled an 83 fps score on the source (Half Life 2) stress test at 1024x768.

What do you psychotic over-optimizers get?

in vst:

all high, reflect world, bilinear, vsync, no aa, 1680x1050 fps_max 65 => ~51-53 fps

if i change fps_max to 200 => ~ 60 fps... mostly coz the end segment of the vst runs 80-120 fps. i cap it @ 65 coz the lcd refresh is only 60 hz

intgr, have you played the game in WIDESCREEN MODE 16:10

i play at 1280x800 widescreen is so much better as you get a wider field of view without the screen getting stretched, i only lose about 5fps when doing this, and it looks really gorgeous, use that widescreen to some use

i get 80 fps ,, 1280x800, all max settings, smooth as butter

latest omega drivers, xp sp2

What are your AA and AF settings?
right now the settings are at 0 for both, because CSS is a very fast paced game with 40 players in one map and as any cs player knows every little fps counts (between life and death) and there are some maps in css that are are heavy in demand (some maps have shiny reflective floors with bump mapping which can turn down performance big time with AA on), i just o/c my card now (only a little), the stress test gets high fps unlike the actual game (css) without all the mp stuff (netcode/lag, as many as 40 players inc. gunfire and explosions on screen, all the eye candy turned to max etc)

after o/c im now getting 93 fps on stress test, 1280x800 - 16:10 widescreen mode, all max settings, tri filtering, when i play HL2 i will turn on AA and AF for sure as i wont have to worry about 40 players and explosions + netcode/lag on my screen to think about.

i average about 50 fps in css with all the action going on.

I had AA off. I just put it up to 1280x800 16:10. I lost about 10 fps, but I honestly can't tell, and it does look so much better.

good to hear, after playing games in widescreen i just cant go back to 1024x768 or the other regular formats, widescreen is so great with that wider view hehe
