No need, Fastest Non PCI-E is MR9800 but they are only found in DTR that is heavy with short battery life.

Second up is MR9700 and the PCI-E 600 series with the PCI-E being a bit faster which can be found in a lot of laptop ranging from 4.5lbs to 10lbs with the ones using Pentium M having over 3 hours on battery on real usage.

3rd up is the MR9600 which is slightly dated but still ok in most games with detail turned down a bit.

Then you have MR9000/9200 and the vaires nVidia Geforce Go which are pretty dated and may have problem dealing with the newer games.

Stay away from anyhting that use intel extreme graphic or integrate graphics of smoe sort.

How do you get that? 3dmark 01 says the following:

Intel Extreme Graphics 2: Max 2400
ATI Mobility Radeon 9200: Max 8300
nVidia Geforce Go5200: Max 8700

What are your sources?

I think i am going to buy doom just to get some info on my vid card... i see no reviews of it anywhere.... all my games are set to highest resolution and hav eno glitches and usually beating them ot the punch in crunch times (in game reloads)

why does only two manufacturers use this card?
for engineering software the ati cards have always been problamatic... not everyone is an extreme gamer... some use there laptops for work... hehehe only hte Nvidia card got certified...why?

No way is the IE2 better or even close in ANY way to a ATI 9200.
I've had both and the diference is like night to day. Be it on synthetic benchmarks like 3Dmark01 (which the IE2 tops off at 2800 and the ATI 9200 goes well into the 8xxx Mark) or any FPS game you through at it.
