512mb - 1024mb

Hello mates

Please give your opinion should I take 512,768 or 1024 MB of RAM ?

Maximum use for my notebook will be DOOM3/Half-life2/World of Warcraft engined games.

Rest of the notebook specs are:

1.7 dothan
60GB 5400rpm
512MB PC400
ATI Radeon 9700 128MB
15,4" WSXGA TFT
and
Wlan 54MBit,DVD Dual Burner

I found this ASUS based notebook from getbestmobile.de starting from price 1499e with 1.5 Dothan,40 GB HDD, 512MB, Wlan 54MBit,DVD
Dual Burner. It is nice one and I found it thanks to this forum.

Definitely 1024MB. 512MB isn't quite enough for the newer games, and 768MB simply isn't going to cost that much less than 1024MB.

i went with the 1G, costs about $170 for 2 512 sticks.

333 or 400 mhz `?

333, as 400 isnt supported by centrino even though it has a 400mhz bus.

400 will just run at 333.
