Call For Help On The 3790!!! And Video Drivers

When I Loaded The New Omeaga Driver On A Clean Install Of Xp Pro They Worked Fine, But When I Installed All Of The Critical Updates, I Get A Black Screen After Boot. What Are The Best Drivers For The 3790 That Will Not Give Me The Black Screen. 3dmark With The Newest Omega (beta Drivers) Was 3336 And With Stock Ati Drivers I Get Like 3130. Pls Help!!!

supposedly, anything over Omega ver 4.5 is unstable.

I couldn't get the Omegas to work either. I don't think it would matter but you are supposed to get windows totally installed, then the chipset driver, then the sound, then the video. It's painful looking at the screen but you might try it in the correct order.
