Hey guys,
I'm having issues trying update the bios on my 8790.
I've got the update, burnt it to cd, changed the boot order, dos opens up but it doesn't prompt me for anything after running.
messages run through the screen too fast to read, so when I paused them it read the following:

It looks like to screwed up the bootable CD build. Use Nero and simply burn the image (ISO) provided by Sager and that is all you ned to do. Looking at the EMM and other stuff that comes up, you have used another process and may have addeded the ISO as a Data file rather than an image file.

Initially burnt disk as bootable data disk. Re-burnt disc as image, worked like champ. Thanks!

Sorry if this is a stupid question... I must be slow...I've tried burning this thing twice today, both times it shows as an ISO file on the CD, and I've changed the boot order to use the CD drive, but still the system doesn't seem to use the CD to boot. Nothing new happens. The normal boot with the blue Windows screen to click on the user and open Windows for the user last signed in is what comes up.

Any idea what I'm missing?

Thanks for any advice!

I also need to know what the selection should be when burning with Nero. It is stated to create it as an "image". Which option does that correspond to correspond to on the Nero menu? Sorry my screen is flaking out so I can't go into Nero and see options I'm seeing until I reboot again for the umpteenth millionth time today (20 - 30 some reboots at least today) Think I'm just about ready to just send it back and let Sager deal with it.

Well I finally got the CD to burn right and was able to update the bios successfully. It didn't help the pixel problem so I guess I'm going to have to RMA it after all.

Thanks to all of you who post out here to help the rest of us!
