Is there anyone who as expiriance with the new Toshiba M30X-102?
The situation:
I'm currently owning a 8200 with 1600x1200 screen and looking for a new laptop. I narrowed down my choice between the Dell 8600 (with one of the above screen types) and the brand new Toshiba M30X-102 with WXGA screen. The problem is: I realy love my Dell screen, but the Toshiba has a mobility Radeon 9700 with 128megs, a XD picture card slot (I own a Olymous C5060 WZ with uses a XD card), build in 802.11g (no extra cost) The Toshiba is around 1600 euros the Dell is close to 2100 euros.
So the Toshiba is a little more intressenting to me spec's wise, the Dell is attractive because of the briljant screen. Ofcourse: the Dell is more expensive.
So if there is anyone out there who as already the new Toshiba, please let me know how you like it.
remark: The M30X-102 is the european model of the M30X. It's not customizable in the EU.
Spec's: Intel Pentium-M 1.5GHz, 512MB RAM (2x256MB > going to upgrade to 2x 512MB), R9700-M, DVD +/- writer, 15,4" WXGA screen (1280x800), 60GB HD, 802.11b/g, multi-card reader (with XD-cardslot!)
total costs: around 1800 euros (+/- 1500 USD)
