Which Video Card?

I just purchased a Tyan 2885 Dual opteron motherboard. Now just have to decided in the next few weeks which video card I want to par up with the beast (12"x13" M/B)

I looked at the list of recomended cards on Tyan's site, but they only recomended cards up to like an ATI 9800 pro.

Which card is going to give the best value thay will work w/this motherboard? And not break the bank entirely? Still got 2 opterons to buy.

I was planning on going something better than an ATI 9800 and I have heard the Tyan boards have had some driver issues w/NVidia cards.

Are there any AGP Pro 110 cards that are good for gaming or should I stick to a plain 8x AGP card?

I'm willing to spend up to $350 ish on a video card.

9800XT and x800 PRO are nice benchmarked cards...and wont break ur wallet...try www.newegg.com and www.pricewatch.com they got good deals on both cards...dont go with any other manufacturer besides ATI, Powercolor or Sapphire

If your looking for a good card without breaking you wallet get the Geforce 6600GT. Costs about $190 and preforms better then the Radeon 9800 or the X600. Tkae a look at the benchmarks at http://www.neoseeker.com/Articles/Ha...ws/6600bench1/

Just got the M/B in today. All I can say is wow this is a huge M/B!

Just need to find a case that won't break the bank seems anything labeled "server" or "workstation" and the price more than doubles!

Probally look around some more this weekend for video cards.

Can't wait to get this system up and running (looks like I'll be running the server again at LaN parties )
