3790 Screen Power/Brightness Settings

I just noticed that the screen on my 3790 and noticeable brighter when I am on AC power. How can I adjust the screen to the same brightness while using the battery? I've looked at the power settings for the battery and the color settings for the display, but haven't been able to solve the problem. Can someone help me out here? I'm sure it's simple, I just haven't been able to figure it out yet.

It's all good man, I'll figure it out. I jsut found it weird how when I plug in the AC adaptor when it's running on battery power the screen gets a lot brighter. I'm sure it's a just a matter of adjusting some sort of power settings...

I had the same thing happen with my old Toshiba. I went into the battery power settings and even the maxed out brightness setting on battery wasn't as bright as it being powered by A/C. If there was some way of correcting that, I never did find one.

The fuction key, and F9 or F10 controls the brightness.

Mine at one point didnt work, so I blew away the system and tried again. it worked after i did that.
