? about returns

new b here! has anyone here returned a inspiron notebook? did you have to pay any other fees other than paying to ship back the product out of your own pocket? do we pay a restocking fee or anything?

So long as returned within the guarantee period you pay nothing except the shipping costs.

which is what I am about to try and do....blame an ATI hardware issue and maybe they will pay for the return shipping :-)

damn thing will not stretch 1680x1050 to fit 1920x1200....max it can stretch is 1280x1024

i know the 21 day return period starts on the invoicing date, but does the invoicing date start on the ship date ?

Ya, it's ship date and they are rigid about it.

I called on day 22 and got a canned reply. I replied to it and was ignored.

because 1920x1200 makes everything too small...yes i tried all the DPI and other setting but I just don't like it....I want 1680x1050
