3-1 card reader on new sentia

hoping someone with a new sentia can answer this question for me. Is the 3 in 1 card reader supposed to come with a dummy slot filler like the PCMCIA slot does - mine doesnt have one and i'm wondering if tis supposed to remain open like that (dust etc)

nope, it is left open. No dummy card.
