speedswitchxp?

Has anyone tried speedswitchxp on the 8790? Does it work? any adverse effects?

As the 8790's don't use pentium 4 mobile chips or centrino chips, speedswitch I'm guessing would be pointless?

I used to use it on my Dell 8500 which had a mobile P4. Worked very well I recall.

i thought someone had mentioned that they had it working on a non-mobile chip.... never used it myself, so i don't know
