One thing though I think you mixed up. The last two pics, the top one looks to be at 120DPI and the bottom one at 96DPI if I am not mistaken . They are great pics.

ok im a bit confused, it seems like you didn't label which screen is which ... or im just confused.

im guessing the left one in the juxtaposed pics is sxga, and the to the right is sxga+.. then the cycle repeats again

right under that is the wuxga i believe? can you explain please xarthan, it's a bit unclear or my nooby ears need soome help.

yeah the ones next to each other ar WXGA then WSXGA and the single ones are WUXGA

damn the wsxga+ seems a little too small for me. i ordered 2 of those too, but i guess i can live with it.

which do you prefer xarth? wsxga+, wxga, or wuxga?

if it's $50 more to go from a wxga to an wsxga+.. .is it worth it? if the resolution is the only difference, then it wasn't worth it... but too late, i already ordered. blah

wsxga+, WUXGA is not very practical for me to use IE and surf the web as i have to use the "ignore font" function
post #13 of 29
ah thanks.. im getting the wsxga+ and im not sure if it's going to serve me well.

i chose the wsxga+ because i thought the sxga+ screen was pretty good, and that wsxga+ would have the same native resolution as the sxga+... guess that's not the case yo

Is there anyone can tell me if WSXGA can put 2 office windows side by side like WUXGA does?

I love my WSXGA+, it's a great all around screen. Not too small and definitely not too big. My fiance hates the small font though, so anytime she wants to use it to get on the internet i have to CTRL+scroll to make the fonts bigger in Forefox for her. Then I get it back from her and make them nice and tiny again. It is a great res though, very clear. My dad has WUXGA on his I6000 and I noticed that he runs it at WXGA(because of his eyes, old fart) and it's still pretty clear because of the size of the pixels. I tried to convince him to run it at WUXGA and just make the fonts bigger but he won't listen to me. Oh well.

WUXGA looks tiny. Great pics. If i do end up getting the 640m i think i'll go with the WSXGA+ size with true life. Those screens are all 14.1" right?
