basically, it boils down to how good your eyes are..i would not go above wxga,because i am in the reading glass age.

ok, if i have wuxga and if i set resolution to 1600 instead of 1900 , will it make the appearance crappy???

hey first of all, THANKS for posting these. I think this is the best comparison between the 3 I have seen anywhere online. HOWEVER - it leaves something to be desired. Ideally, you want all 3 screens to be the same size in the pics. The WUXGA screen is bigger. So I have taken the liberty to compile your hard-worked pics into a new format, showing them in (closer) sizes, and on-top of each other, easier to see the sizings - for instance you can compare the sizing of the NBFORUMS logos:

whoa, good job bumping a 2 year old thread!! lol

im on my WXGA i8600c now after having it sent to dell depots for repairs 4 times. still going strong

with respect to the pics, ah i hadn't realized that i left the small bookmark toolbar on the WXGA screen...

and the WUXGA screen has the IE buttons with "Text on bottom"... damn :P

Yoink! Gonna steal this for its own thread/ sticky in the 15" sections.... the question about which to get is really common and this will hopefully help heaps.
