usb (tv tuner) device

Have any of you used one of those usb tv tuner gismo's? I would love to start ripping a few of the tv series on cable, but I only have a laptop. I noticed on newegg they actually have a usb device that allows you to plug a coax cable to your laptop and run your tv through it. I just wondered how well they worked. It doesn't have to be dvd quality or anything since it is just tv shows I'd be recording. I just wondered if anyone has used one, and if it was worth the price.

You can find MSI's Vox (http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p...=VOX&class=vga) online for around $70.

It's definitely worth it if you want to grab TV shows.

Others include the StarTech USB tuner, also around $70. Pinnacle has one for about $170. You can find all 3 of the above at Amazon. I've used MSI's Vox, but don't have any experience with the others.
