Full HDTV resolutions would probably be pushing it for a DESKTOP even.

It's good. I ran it with everything high at native res for WSXGA+ (1680x1050). It's great. Slows down when there's like 2+ nades going off next to u and have like 5 guys around u shooting... But those are the extreme cases.

I'm thinking I'd push down the res even if I had a WSXGA (I need 30 constant frames even in a big firefight)

1280x800 is the way to go for CS:S, unless you can stand dips below 20ish fps (uggh)

Games work just fine at non-native rez from what ove been able to tell.
