Dear All:
This may be simple for most of you, but I was wondering if someone could send me instructions on the hardware installation of a mini-PCI Wireless Lan Adapter (Intel 2200BG) into the Toshiba A10-S169 mini-PCI slot. The laptop comes with the Wireless Lan switch, but the Toshiba 802.11b adapter is optional and mine didnt come with it. I just ordered the intel mni-PCI 2200BG (primarily because it supports G) and looking around on the net realized that the installation is restricted to Authorized service folks only. I am a computer engineer and have been around hardware all my life. Im sure given enough time and luck, I can figure it out myself, but if some of you can give me some pointers (what to open, which cover to take off, what not to do etc.) on this simple install, I would really appreciate it.
