Toshiba P35-S6292 at costco

I saw this notebook on the cosco.com website, under toshiba notebooks!

It comes with the TruBrite screen, P4 3.2 processor, the video card is a 9700 but only with 64mb, but Im sure better that what Nvidia has to offer in a notebook package. For 1,699.99 it seems like a good deal....what you guys think good deal??

I bit the bullet and got it!!!

Well I bit the bullet and got it, so far I'm really impressed....The screen is really nice & the sounds is terrific, you'll be pleasantly surprised!! I will give more reviews the more I play with it...but I do have some benchmarks!!!


3d mark 2001.....9533

3d mark 2003.....2714

All these numbers are from stock machine...no changes were made, seems not to bad for having only 64mb video card!!!

Costco Toshiba Laptop Questions

Hello !

Regarding the P35-S6292 at Costco, I have 2 questions....

1. Does this model come with Windows XP Home or Professional, and is it with Service Pack 1 or 2 installed ?

2. Does anyone know if this model supports Compact Flash Digital Media cards ? The spec sheet at Costco's website does not make that clear.

Any information is very much appreciated.
