Speakers to compliment the new Audigy?

The new Audigy Notebook Sound Card (link below) sounds like it's going to be great! Now how about some mobile speakers to go with them?

I'm not really interested in a full blown 5.1 or 7.1 set, already have that with my desktop. I'm more interested in something that's going to be small and easily portable... something along the lines of a small Bose Wave speaker box, or a 2.1 package that can be seperated then easily repacked.

Any ideas?

I recommend headphones - do a search for "The Headphones Thread"

Already have headphones and the Audigy comes with 'earphones'. I'm looking for something to plug in so others can hear the great sound while watching DVDs.

5.1 sound and a mic boom. This is the only true 5.1 set of headphones with a microphone I could find. You can get them on ebay for a little over a hundred bones. It looks perfect of the Sound Blaster application!

Those look sweet, but as I said above, I'm intested in speakers not headphones.

Has anyone here tried the Sony SRS-T100PC or the Sonic Impact SI-5 2.1? This is more along the lines of what I'm looking for. Wondering about the increase in volume and quality of bass response.

Several years ago I bought the Sony SRS-T77 portable speakers. They have seen been discontinued and the closest replacement is the SRS-T88. My 77s are sightly larger than 2 CD stacked jewel cases and weigh about 8.5 ounces. They came with a thin nylon case and 9V worldwide adapter. They also can run on batteries. The sound is good for their size. I paid $90 USD several years ago.

If you are interested in the Audigy Card, I would stay away from the STS-T100 as they connect via USB. My understading is that to get the benefits to the Audugy card, you need to connect to it, and it does not appear to have any USB connections.
