Amd Fx-55 Released!! Nvidia Nforce4!!!

That's right all you AMD 64 hardcore gamers out there, if you were waiting it out for a new PC with AMD64 tech, plus PCI Express, then your wait is over!!! YEAH!!!! .

Yesterday, October 19th, AMD made the official announcement of AMD and PCI Express finally binding together. (At this rate, Intel may have some trouble.. ) So, AMD Athlon FX-55 with Nvidia Mobo (NFORCE4 chipset) will now support AMD 64's and FX chips!! Here are the stats on Nvidia's mindblowing MOBOS.

Time for me to get rid of this ALX system (which is almost brand new....) and build my own monster (I like Alienware, but don't have the funds to go out and get a new ALX, plus, the wait could be a while.. ) Assemble AMD fanboys, and gamers that know what a GAMING MACHINE really is, and say HOORAH!!!

I was never as exited as you are, even when they called Snow-Days at our school. But damn, I love AMD and my next system (hopefully an Alienware again) will be AMD based. Long live AMD!

Jeez, you've got practically a perfect system. Why do you need a new one? You could wait a while until there is a game that your system can't handle, then by the new system for less money.

To Answer those Questions and More

Well, yes, because PCX was released for AMD now, it will start to be sold in a few days. The good news is, this new board has quite a few more perks than just PCX, such as large bus channels, and support for the new Nvidia firewall, which is really nice, so YEAH AMD!!

Yes Indeed

The estimated date for release on both the PCI-e nForce4 MOBO (without SLI) is mid November. For SLI, I have heard right before XMAS, but don't know for sure.
