I was hopping to put a new video card into my 8880 and I was just wondering what my limitations where. Do I have to get a special one from sager or is there only so high I can go. Thanks for everyone’s help.

i dont think you can replace your video card on any sager's yet. your only option is to upgrade to the 8890

well a lot of manufacturers don't offer replaceable graphics. they are starting to do it now with pci express coming out because it will be efficient, and easy to do

isn't the 8880 like 533 FSB? u can probably get a really good boost with an upgrade

Contact Sager and see what it'll take to upgrade to the 8890. It's not the latest and greatest, but it's the last in the lineup of the 88xx series. Upgrading would mean getting a new motherboard as the graphics card is integrated into it.

i think it's only like $700 bucks for that pugrade, not that bad considering the newer hardware than what u currently have
