Just wondering how everyone's expirience with Hypersonic has been. I ask because I've been having major troubles with them and wanted to see if anyone else has had any problems with them. I will post my story later on if others have had troubles and then I won't feel so bad about bashing the company. If I'm the only one thats had troubles though, then I would consider my case to be unique and wouldnt want to bash a company for one costomers freak expirience with them. Let me know of your expiriences with them! Thanks!

Hypersonic Expirience?

I hate Hypersonic. They had three chances to get me a notebook without a dead pixel and they couldn't. I say bash them all you want, they deserve it. I was lied to on numerous ocassions about shipping dates, I was hung up on once, oh, and they offered me a game for my troubles...what I really wanted was a notebook that worked. I was happy to be rid of it when I returned it and I took my business to Falcon Northwest.

I have had a very good experience with Hypersonic. Nothing wrong with my computer(no dead pixels not that I even care though), I e-mailed support a few time during the build process and when it slipped by one day from may I remind you an estimated shipping date, they were very apologetic and even upgraded my shipping for free. I think many times people here expect too much. I am not saying this as an excuse for a company to sell you an product lacking quality but, keep in mind the big picture. Nothing in this world is going to be perfect not even that laptop that you flipped burgers for two and a half years in order to buy it. And I do truly believe that Companies like Hypersonic understand what many of their customers go through before they can enjoy their products and do strive to make and keep happy customers. However shit does happen when you do find that imperfection and as you rush to the phone and call that company steaming with rage just remember that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react.

i had a great experience with hypersonic. ordered a cx-6 (mitac 8050). there was a component that was delaying shipment of my laptop so they called and asked me if they should ship it immediately or wait till the piece came in since they knew i had to go to uni. i had them ship it then and they shipped the missing piece free of charge when they got it. the actual machine was flawless. customer service was decent. they didn't reply to emails but always phoned back when they said.

Here's a bit more detail on my experience:
I ordered a CX5 with the pixel insurance. It arrived with a dead pixel. I called and they sent me a label to ship it to them. A week goes by and no notebook, so I call. They tell me that they were just finishing testing and they would overnight it to me. Instead, they shipped it ground. I finally got it back and they didn't replace the screen at all. It had the same problem in the same location with the same smudge mark from me pointing it out to one of my friends. I called again rather angry and threatened to return it. They said they'd advance replace it with another one, which was nice of them. They said they'd overnight it to me. I called when it didn't arrive and they missed the deadline for overnight shipping. Finally, it arrives but not only does it have a dead pixel, it also blue screens and has stability issues out of the box. I called again and was hung up on and I wasn't even raising my voice or anything, I was simply trying to explain the situation. After that, they offered me a game and the opportunity to send it in to be fixed, I said screw that, I want my money back. I was happy to be rid of it and not have to deal with those jerks anymore. They were almost as frustrating to deal with as Dell, and that's saying something. I ordered my Falcon Northwest and they got it right on the first try! It was nice to find a company that does it right the first time and cares about their customers...unlike Hypersonic.

No, I'm saying that they haven't given me a working computer since I have gotten the computer for about 2 1/2 months not including the 2 month wait for the system. They don't rturn my e-mails, hang up when I call them, don't bother with the questions I ask them which they say, I'll get back to you, but never do. It's just an all around bad experience with them. Terrible support. There is basically no way to return my system. I'll just have to keep sending it in til they finally fix it in 2006 lol. It's just that I've payed so much for a fully functional notebook, both for work and for game use. It's not right for them to make so many mistakes forcing me to give up my system which would have been very useful to me during that time. I had two business trips the last time I sent it in for RMA and I really could've used my lappy then. I just really wished I had gone with either PCT or Sager :\
Oh well, it's a great comp for what it does right, but not totally functional just yet.

Btw, the problems are:
-Sent it in the first time because of faulty video memory (which would cause funky colors and games messing up completely)
-Wireless wasn't working even though I tested the wireless network on a friends laptop and worked flawlessly. (My notebook disconnects every 5 minutes)
-Another wierd problem with clicking (double clicking) on applications and they do not open (for example clicking on add/remove programs in control panel took at least 3 clicks each time just to open it)
-And I was also wanting to get a DVD drive upgrade to duel layer.
After I recieved it from RMA:
-Still had the same problems in games, although some games were working that weren't before so at least they didn't pick their noses all day long
-Wireless is worse than before (Sometimes it disconects me for as long as 10 minutes at a time)
-And they ignored my request for an upgrade, just sent it back :\
So now I was trying to get my money back because I don't want to waste my time dealing with them again, but I don't beleive I have a choice :\
All I ever wanted was a working notebook. Was that to much to ask for with the money I put into it?

You are definitely having a rough time shuutme03 and wish you the best in your quest for a fully functional system.
I can tell you from my own experience that not everyone has problem with support. I had to send my laptop back to get the video card replaced. I was getting major artifacting in games unless I seriously downclocked the card. This was not a problem when I first got the system - so basically started happening after I had it for four months.
The main concern I had was shipping the system back because I live on a military installation in Germany, so shipping for me is through the good ole USPS, which makes the shipping time lengthy. But I had no choice.
From the point of sending it in to getting it about two weeks later, I was consistently in contact with the tech support rep. They not only replaced the video card, but also replaced the motherboard with a newer revision with the new BIOS already preinstalled. System is back in my hands now and gaming like it did prior to having my artifacting problems.
Long story short, I know you (and others) are having a frustrating time, but there are those also who are not having the same problems. Maybe it is just luck, not sure. But I can tell you that I am once again happy with my system.
I wish you the best in your quest!

I have been very happy with my GX7 & the quality paint job. After reading some of the other hypersonic posts before I bought it, I knew I was in for a wait. Some of you guys are a lot more patience than me. I give a company two times to make it right or it's time for a full refund & go somewhere else to make a purchase. Hypersonic did do a great job for me but, I did hear a lot of excuses from them on delivery. Other than that

I bought from them back when they were first starting up and overall the whole thing was great. However, back then, just as now, they took a long time to deliver their systems. They delayed mine a couple of times despite the fact that it was nothing out of the ordinary. They upgraded my shipping to overnight though.
