Hi people.

I can't install speedstep-centrino.c into my kernel, or as a module. I've tried to install all patchs i've found in google, but i see the same result . The CPU isn't supported . I've changed the " .x86_mask = 1," to " .x86_mask = 6" , and don't work .

I´ve installed cpudyn and i can see on /proc/cpuinfo "600-1700mhz", when my proccesor is a Pentium M 1.5ghz ( gkrellm works fine , it show 600mhz to 1500mhz ) but the module isn't loaded !!. The temperature it's the same, a 600mhz or a 1500mhz, i think that i need to be loaded the module to reduce the temperature and long battery life.


Anyone has installed speestep-centrino.c on Acer dothan ??

My laptop is : acer travelmate 4001WLMi
