Depends also on what video card you have, but if its a R9700 128MB card then you should have no problems. Even a 64MB should handle Sims 2 fairly well.
The Sims 2 plays great on my CL56 (check my sig. for specs). You should not have any problems at all.
is it as smooth as butter. No jitter right becuase i had an amd notebook and it was jittering and stuttering like craszy just wondering if it would be any differnet for the sims 2.
Absolutely no problems with it here except for having to carry around Disc 1 all the time in case I want to play it. Don't need to put Windows disc in to boot the computer, why do I need the game disc to boot the game

Yeah I am using GameDrive Manager which was on the free software disc that came with my lappy. So far it couldn't copy Sims, Sim City, or Driver. Oh well, back to hacking the game launchers <----Thats for those who would protect MY software against ME.

Only noise if CD spinning up when I installed stuff. No noise while I am playing unless fan comes on but that is almost silent too. Even the little lappy speakers can far over power the fan noise.

Tis smooth, and very quiet. The only noise is when the fan comes on. This is brief and infrequent. The fan is quiet and barely noticeable.
