Windows Update buggering my comp, help?

Hey,

I noticed earlier today that my disk space was low and getting lower to the point of critically low (less than 20mb...even went bunk 'til I furiously deleted junk to allow space to install a virus detector) so yep, I installed a virus program, scanned and nothing was detected. I rebooted my computer and Windows Update said it successfully downloaded an update and tried to install it.

If you see my sig you'll notice that space is a rare commodity on my comp...turns out windows update tried to install Service Pack 2 for me but luckily ran out of space (or unluckily, depending how you look at it). I'm guessing it's pretty big since I've lost quite a bit of space. So...where the heck did it download it? I'm checking my windows folders right now:

C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download

could this be it?
folder named: 6ca7b3a8efd5a9b6f87fff395a2eb989
and
S-1-5-18

Both created yesterday when the update was first downloaded. I just don't want to delete anything without being sure...

Total file size seems to be a little over 500mb.

Okay, I'm impatient...so I decided it was it. The folder had some "SP2" stuff in it and I figured no guts, no glory.

If I don't post for a while after this, you know something went wrong...
