Adam, i am looking into purchasing a 3790 but you seem to be out of stock on the 12 cell battery pack..How long do you think until you have those in?

And another question on your warranty's, im looking on having a warranty that will last more then 2 years but i can not really afford that right now, i tried to read up on the phillips warranty and from what i get you can choose to pay the additional 2+ years (if you choose 2) and pay that fee within the 180 days that the one year expires..Do i understand it correctly?

Thanks

I'm also wondering if we just pay same amount of fee for warranty that is listed in the option when we are configurating one.

Just an FYI, their hours are M-F normal business hours. You can also send a PM (Personal Message).

Ahh didn't think of a pm, sorry about that.

Don't worry about it, I'm sure you'll get a response. I went with the 3 year, but based on what I've seen so far, I doubt I will need it. I've had the 5690 from PCT since May, and have been extremely satisfied!!!

Yes, the warranty can be purchased at a later date.

For the 12 cell batteries, we check all the time for updates. We'll see what the latest word is tomorrow (Monday) when everyone is in.

Talk About Getting Answers Quick

Look at that even support on the weekends when PCT is normally closed. Great service. Thanks again for the quick answers.

That's in Lieu of Adam not being able to receive PM's...

Is it true that Adam and Luke can't appear in the same room simultaneously lest they collapse instantly into a quantum singularity?

LOL. Thanks, my day has been crappy and a good laugh was just what I needed.

Has anyone really compared the 6 cell to the 12 cell? I guess i don't see much harm in buying one of each, the twelve later, and use the 6 as back-up as it is smaller?
I would say it's 6-to-1, half-a-dozen to the other, but that'd be a VERY WEAK attempt at humor....

*Que bad Obi-Wan impression* "Use the search button..."

But to recap:
12-Cell = 4-5 hours of webserfing/email, 3-4 hours of DVD watching.
6-Cell = Half the 12-Cell (No, really, no joke.)
