Possible to buy ODM/OEM of IBM thinkpads?

Hi,

Who makes them, and where can you get them on the cheap? Do they have some exclusive contract with ibm to where no one else on the net can sell the ODM design?

If it serves me right, IBM manufactures there own notebooks. And only the LCD's are bought elsewhere and they vary.

I think Quanta is the ODM and i'm pretty sure they got an exclusivity contract.
